How my idea of travel changed

A few years ago, I thought traveling always had to be exciting and full of activities. Whenever I visited a new place, I tried to see everything as quickly as possible. I spent entire days walking around cities, visiting tourist attractions, taking photos, and planning the next activity. However, over time my idea of a perfect holiday slowly changed. Now I prefer slower and calmer trips where I can actually relax and enjoy the atmosphere around me. Instead of rushing between places, I enjoy sitting in cafés, watching local people, reading books, or simply walking without a plan. Last summer, I spent several days in a small town near the sea where almost nothing “special” happened. Surprisingly, it became one of my favorite holidays ever because I felt peaceful and completely disconnected from stress. Sometimes the best experiences are not the busiest or most exciting ones, but the quiet moments we remember afterward.
